Skin Deep is a brand of skin-tone plasters, for their launch in 2020, the challenge was to take a boring medical item such as plasters and build a compelling case that would resonate with their target audience and the wider community. Our mission was to help build a brand that embodies the need for representation and empowerment of all people. A brand that reflects our society and recognises that words are for now but actions make a bigger impact for the future.

Our Approach
As we reflect on the past and look for ways to ensure we build a future that empowers everyone, especially members of our society that have been misrepresented, now more than ever it is important to build a brand that reflects the society we live in, a brand that is all-inclusive and cares about telling the stories of the people it serves.
We must build a community, not a following, what we mean by this is; a community takes care of each other even when all the hype is gone, the marching stops, and something else is trending.
More than just an information-based website the Skin Deep site acts as a source of inspiration working in tandem with social media as the primary source for communicating Skin Deep's brand principles and product range. To increase and retain traffic to the website we developed a media section on the site with stories that champion inclusivity and diversity, reinforcing the brand's message and commitment to empowering all. These stories were then fed into the social media channels encouraging visitors to the site and followers to share and spread the message.
