Under the theme of commemorating 100 years since the Harlem Renaissance, with Africa as its foundation, Boateng's show, titled 'A I', showcased not only his remarkable debut collection for women but also exuded an air of absolute sophistication. The exhibition embodied refined designs and impeccable styling, leaving no doubt about Boateng's creative vision and unwavering dedication. The collection featured opulent fabrics, precision tailoring, and a palpable sense of the Ozwald Boateng brand's evolution.
Continuing his quest to redefine African luxury, Ozwald Boateng presented his second remarkable showcase in Harlem, building upon the success of his previous Africanism show in Nigeria. This time, his aim was to create a powerful event that not only celebrated Africa but also paid homage to the rich African-American experience found in the heart of Harlem.
To capture the essence of this vision, we created an evocative poster campaign, emphasizing the notion that our present identities are deeply rooted in our ancestral heritage—a timeless human code passed down through generations and is manifested in our sense of style, art, fashion, music, and cultural influence on the world.
